Arsenal-Manchester city title battle deciders named.

Michael Oliver will take charge of Manchester City’s trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, the Premier League have announced. City visit the Emirates Stadium looking to return to winnings ways in the Premier League, after suffering their first defeat of the campaign against Wolves last weekend, during an underwhelming display at Molineux.

Pep Guardiola’s side bounced back with an impressive 3-1 win over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening, and would move four points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table with a win on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal beat Manchester City on apenalties during the FA Community Shield in August, but haven’t beaten the Sky Blues in the Premier League since 2015.

Thumping victories over the Gunners propelled Manchester City to a third consecutive Premier League title last season, with Kevin De Bruyne starring in both fixtures against the North London side.

The Belgian will miss Sunday’s match however, alongside Rodri, who is suspended for the Premier League clash this weekend.

Arsenal could also be without influential duo Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, with the latter suffering a fresh injury during the Gunners’ Champions League defeat to Lens in midweek.

Ahead of Sunday’s clash, the Premier League have announced the Match Officials for Manchester City’s match against Arsenal.

Michael Oliver has been named as the referee for Manchester City’s match against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The 38-year-old, who has officiated eight matches so far, this season, took charge of 46 games last year – showing 159 yellow cards and two red cards.

Oliver last took charge of Manchester City in September, when Pep Guardiola’s side beat Fulham 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
